This is my favorite charity, that I have supported for over 30 years. Although officially nondenominational,  the organization has a strong Irish and Catholic background.   They train local people to promote health and treat disease in poor communities in Central America.  People usually walk in Fountain Valley,California for this event.  Because of Covid 19, this year anyone can walk anywhere, so I plan to walk in my neighborhood.

I am walking with Concern America in the annual Walk Out of Poverty to bring health care, clean water, education, and economic opportunities to impoverished communities in Latin America. Concern America trains people to be health care providers, build water systems, be teachers, and form income-generating cooperatives in their own communities. Please donate or join me on April 4th, so that together we can walk for people to transform need into self-sufficiency.

About Concern America:
Concern America is a globally-focused community development organization that transforms need into self-sufficiency in economically impoverished regions so that community members themselves are the agents of change.
