Please join Father Paw and the St. Pius V community in once
again supporting Concern America’s “Walk Out of Poverty” on March 24. This fun,
worthwhile event allows St. Pius to join together to help our poor brothers and
sisters around the world to meet their basic needs.
Concern America trains local people in Colombia, Guatemala,
Mexico, and Mozambiqueto to provide for their own health care, clean water and
income generation, thereby saving and improving thousands of lives. Their
“teach a man to fish” approach brings lasting change to communities long mired
in extreme poverty.
The five-mile Walk Out of Poverty around Mile Square Park in
Fountain Valley raises needed funds for Concern America’s important work. St.
Pius has participated in the Walk for many years.
