Support us as we walk for Concern America!!
Join us in our 9th year of being part of Concern America’s annual Walk Out of Poverty to bring health care, clean water, education, and economic opportunities to impoverished communities in Latin America. We first heard of Concern through our parish in southern CA and have since been drawn to their work of training people to be health care providers, build water systems, be teachers, and form income-generating cooperatives in their own communities.
This year, we hope to raise more for this incredible organization because we know it will make a difference! For example, for every $1,000 we raise, another community has access to health care through the training of a local provider, able to treat over 80% of the community’s medical needs. Even $100 means clean water for someone for 15-20 years through a community water tank. All of the funds we raise go to support this work.
We invite you to join us by giving here, or if you’d prefer, please send a check to Concern America, P.O. Box 1790 Santa Ana, CA 92702 (Rhoades Family in memo line). All donations are tax deductible.
